Why I Added a 30-Minute Implementation Call to Every LinkedIn Rewrite

I noticed a pattern with clients. And once I noticed it, I could not un-notice it.

The audit is delivered. The rewrite is ready. Headline options, rewritten About section, experience bullets, keyword map, everything copy-paste ready, clearly labelled, section by section.

The client reads it. They love it. They say it is exactly what they needed. Sometimes they say “amazing stuff.”

And then life happens.

A busy week at work. A family commitment. A Monday that turns into a month. The document sits in the inbox. The profile stays the same. The recruiter searches keep happening without them.

This is not laziness. This is just what happens when someone hands you something to do on top of everything else you are already carrying.

The problem with delivering a document

When you deliver a rewrite document, you are asking the client to do one more thing. You are adding a task to someone who already has too many tasks. Even if that task is as simple as opening LinkedIn and pasting three sections. It requires a window of time, a clear head, and the confidence to know they are doing it right.

Most people do not have all three of those things available at the same time.

So the document sits. The profile does not change. And the recruiter searches that could have found them keep returning someone else instead.

A perfect LinkedIn rewrite sitting in your inbox changes nothing. The profile updated in 30 minutes changes everything.

What I changed, and why

Every Rite Ascent client on the Core and Premium packages now gets a 30-minute implementation call after the rewrite is delivered.

Here is what that call looks like in practice. We connect on a video call. The client opens their LinkedIn profile on their screen. I walk them through every section, headline first, then About, then experience bullets, then skills. They paste the content directly as we talk. I tell them exactly where to click, what to paste, and how to format it.

Thirty minutes later the profile is updated. Done. Not sitting in a document. Not on the to-do list. Live on LinkedIn, working for them.

Why this matters more than the rewrite itself

The rewrite is the expertise. The implementation call is the execution. Both matter. But execution is what actually produces results.

A recruiter searching LinkedIn at 11pm on a Tuesday does not care how good your rewrite document is. They are searching live profiles. If your profile has not been updated, you are not in that search. The quality of the document is irrelevant if the document never becomes the profile.

The implementation call closes that gap completely. It removes the task from the client’s to-do list and turns it into a shared activity. Instead of “I need to update my profile this week,” it becomes “we are updating my profile right now.”

What this means for you as a client

If you work with Rite Ascent on the Audit + Full Rewrite or Full Optimization packages, you now get a guaranteed outcome, not just a deliverable. The process does not end when the document is sent. It ends when your profile is live.

That is the difference between a service that hands you something and a service that makes sure it actually works.

If you want a LinkedIn profile that is updated, live, and working for you within a week: see our packages here.

And if you have a rewrite document sitting in your inbox right now from a previous service. get in touch. We can do the implementation call for that too.
